HP Scanjet G3010
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently purchased an HP Desktop 7E48LSP (Product Number 1J7P7AA#ABA) running Windows 11.  I have an HP Scanjet G3010 I would like to connect to it.  I have tried everything I know, but so far, I have only been able to get it to scan in a picture format (jpg, etc).  It's supposed to scan to pdf.  Also, it's supposed to scan 35mm slides which it will not do.

The HP website says they do not support drivers for use of the Scanjet 3010 in Windows 11, but one might be able to tell the software drivers that it is some other operating system.  As I said, I've tried a few of these with no luck!  Just wondering if anyone has any tips, workarounds, or trustworthy driver suppliers for this situation?

Thanks in advance for your help.
