HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer

USB cable attached printer to laptop. I was trying to scan and there was no connection between the 2 devices.  I googled hp support. a link was sent , telling me to call certain support number, supposedly from hp support. [Personal Information Removed]We talked , I got some instructions during which time the scan icon disappeared form the desktop. There was a suggestion that my printer was 4G which was incompatible with a 5G router & laptop. i do not understand this. I am not computer savvy. The conversation was abandoned when I pressed to have the icon returned. i began to realize it might be scam. Can I talk to someone who can guide me through a recovery process?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

 

I see that you are facing connectivity issues with HP Printer.

 

I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.

 

You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.

 

Furthermore, you can reinstall using HP Smart App from this link.
