Started with printing issues after upgrading to 11.1. Reinstalling HP print software did not work. Fixed the print issue by using Apple's Bonjour version of the printer software. Now I cannot scan.

Hi,

Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Did you read my comment above? Reinstalling the device with the latest drivers did nothing for my situation, printing specifically. I did not recover my printing until I installed an APPLE version of the printer software.

Furthermore, all attempts at contacting HP have resulted in a LESS THAN SATISFACTORY experience. Either demands for money or endless loops of virtual "support."

I did read your message of course, Reinstalling HP print software and specifically following the HP Uninstaller to fully remove it is not the same thing, did you followed the HP Uninstaller specifically as told from the HP Easy Start menu? did it complete the removal successfully?

I have exactly the same problem... I can't uninstall the software as the Easy Start app says I have no HP software installed, even though I do!

Just proceed to the installation process. Worked for me.
