Hello, when I scan pictures to save them in my file, why is it making the ink low? I am not printing them. Just saving them in the file on my computer. Thanks in advance!

All inkjet printers will perform periodic maintenance cycles where a small amount of ink is used to ensure that the printheads do not clog. Over an extended period of time this might become a noticeable use of ink.
