Product: HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have owned HP LaserJet MFP M234dwe printer for slightly more than month. When I try to scan a printed document with handwritten comments as PDF, only the handwritten part gets scanned. I can't see the rest of the document. Any trick to scanning the entire document?

@rmnn, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to scan the whole page. Which app are you using to scan?

 

Are you using the HP Smart app or the full-feature printer driver?

 

Try using the HP scan extended app and check if that helps:

You can Download-Save-Install > HP Scan Extended
