Hi,

I've been working on this issue all afternoon to no avail.

I am able to send something to my printer to be printed, but to scan something and send it back to my computer is not working.  Everything was working properly until Dec 31, 2022.  As of the 1st of January 2023, my scanner is not able to send my information back to my computer.  What can I do?  I am very frustrated!!!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to scan to the computer from the printer, I am glad to assist you.

Use the HP Printer Assistant application to enable Scan to Computer if it has been disabled.

  1. Open the HP Printer Assistant. Windows 10: From the Start menu, click All Apps, click HP, and then select the printer name. ...
  2. Go to the Scan section.
  3. Select Manage Scan to Computer.
  4. Click Enable.

If the issue persists, turn on the web services on the printer.
