Hi @Michele214,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Pink streaks when scanning in color on a new printer could be caused by various issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to address the problem.

  1. Check Scanner Glass and ADF:

    • Ensure that the scanner glass and Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) are clean. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe away any dust, dirt, or smudges.
  2. Check for Protective Film:

    • Make sure that there is no protective film or tape left on the scanner glass or any other part of the printer. Sometimes, new devices come with protective coverings that need to be removed.
  3. Update Printer Drivers:

    • Ensure that your printer drivers are up-to-date. Visit the official HP website and download the latest drivers for your HP Deskjet 2752e model.
  4. Color Calibration:

    • Check if your printer has a color calibration option. Run the calibration process to ensure accurate color reproduction.
  5. Check Color Settings:

    • Verify that your scanning software or printer settings are configured for color scanning. Adjust the color settings to default or recommended settings.
  6. Try Different Software:

    • Test the scanner using different software. Sometimes, issues may be related to the scanning software. You can use the default scanning software provided by HP or try third-party scanning applications.
  7. Check Ink Levels:

    • Ensure that all the ink cartridges have sufficient ink levels. If any of the color ink cartridges are low or empty, it may affect the quality of color scanning.
  8. Clean or Align Print Heads:

    • Some printers have a utility to clean or align the print heads. Refer to your printer manual and perform any maintenance tasks related to print head alignment or cleaning.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
