I am using an HP 6970 printer/scanner. When I scan a document and choose “share,” it sends in an email in an unreadable file format. Is there a way to email the scanned document directly as a pdf without having to choose save, instead of share, and first save the document as a pdf and then send an email and attach the saved pdf? If I do have to save first, why even provide the share via an email option for a scanned document? Who would choose that if the file type is unreadable to the recipient?
