Hi @SoLaceScrubs,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet Plus 4152's scanner is not working and you’re seeing a connection issue despite being connected to WiFi, here are a few steps you can try.

  • Restart Devices: Restart your printer, computer, and router to refresh all connections.
  • Check Printer Status: Ensure the printer is online and not in an error state. Print a test page to verify the printer's functionality.
  • Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers and firmware for your printer. Visit the HP website and download the latest versions for your printer model.
  • HP Smart App: Try using the HP Smart app to scan instead of the standard scanning software. Sometimes the app provides better diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Check Connections: Ensure the USB or network connection (if applicable) is secure. For wireless issues, confirm that the printer and computer are on the same network.
  • Reconfigure Printer: If you’re using WiFi, consider removing and re-adding the printer to your network. Go to your printer settings and perform a network reset or reconfigure the wireless settings.
  • Document Feeder Issue: If the issue is specific to the document feeder, ensure there are no obstructions or paper jams in the feeder. Also, make sure the feeder is properly aligned and attached.
  • Reinstall Software: Uninstall and reinstall the HP printer software on your computer. Sometimes a fresh installation can resolve connection issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
