Scanning

I have a printer 4301, when I scan and pick EMAIL PDF or JPEG, I want it to go to a window to email to someone.  After clicking on SEND the scan goes away.  I can save it if I choose SAVE before the scan, and put in Documents.  I used to be able to send and it would go to a window to email, lost this, how do I get it back, thanks

From your description, I am guessing you are perhaps using HP Scan / HP Universal Scan.

HP Scan / HP Universal Scan run in Windows.

The "Email as PDF" / "Email as JPEG"  >> "Send to" Email feature requires that you have added your sender's mail address to the Outlook application.

After a period of non-use, it's possible that the sender's email account in Outlook can become "disconnected" from the email account's "add access" process required to support third party access.

Perhaps Test using HP Smart (Windows) to "Share" your scanned content using Outlook.

HP Smart might trigger the Outlook app email account setup to (re)connect your sender's email address to Outlook.
