Scanned / Saved Document

After a document is scanned (one page at a time or all of a single sided document in the ADF) and saved on the computer, there is no distinction as to front side / back side.

Documents are saved as Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, to the end of the document.

The printer can be used to print that saved document 2-sided (duplex).

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+

Duplex / 2-sided Printing

The printer supports 2-sided (duplex) printing in supported paper sizes and paper types.

For example,

  • The printer can print a duplex document on paper size "Letter" (8.5x11in) on plain paper.
  • The printer cannot print 2-sided on photo paper.
  • The settings in the application will help you avoid unsupported options -- depending on the software you are using to view and submit the print job, you will see a "conflict" error OR the setup will not display incompatible choices.
