The HP scan software can't find the ScanJet Pro 2600 connected via USB on Win 11

However the device manager is showing the scanner and also in "printer and devices" the scanner is available and scanning is possible with windows built-in driver/app but of course with limited functionality.

 

How can I get the HP scan software to run, because without these special features of the HP scan software the ScanJet Pro 2600 does not bring me the necessary added value?
