Hello,

I have a HP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw connected to a MAC running MacOS 12.7.6. The Print process succeeds, but I cannot access the Scanner-function remotely – it produces following error message :

«The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957375.)(-9921)»

Can you please advise for any way to fix the issue ?

It’s quite frustrating, as the printer is nearly unused and working perfectly.

Regarding the scanning-process, I currently workaround with a USB-stick, which I put into the HP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw, then carry over into one of the Mac’s USB ports, but it’s tedious and should work via the same WIFI / AirPrint connection as the printing-functionality.

The issue occurs with all available scanning-apps (Image Capture, HP Easy Scan, MAC Preview, etc…)

@HP : Please provide a smooth plug n’ play fix for users, not coders.

It just took a couple of years to fix it. Really. 😉

Which might introduce the topic of site’s/product-details efficiency.
