HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g
Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

The scanner on my Officejet Pro 8600 Plus is apparently set up to scan legal sized documents. How do I change the settings to scan letter sized documents?

My printer has a desktop manual  that downloaded when I installed the printer. It is interactive.  when I click on the topic I want it allows me to change the settings on the printer. I looked and it is HP Printer Assistant. It will allow you to changed these settings on your printer with whatever you want. You can  go to the HP website and download the printer assistant for your printer and make these changes to  your scanner. I tried to see if I could make the changes you said you had a problem with and it will allow you to make the changes it did me.
