To print from console, it scans, then prints in low "photo speed" mode - minutes/page

HP Recommended
HP OfficeJet 4650 All-In-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When printing from the consiole, the printer first scans the page, then prints in extremely slow mode at "photo speed" taking minutes per page. However, when printing from the computer,  it seem to rpint ok!

Possible solution...

 

This printer is not able to use Smart Tasks / Shortcuts synced to the printer - that said, the printer will use what ever standard print settings are available.

 

Slow printing might be a sign that the paper settings are not correct - or the paper is not being sensed correctly.

 

Prepare to Load (or at least open the tray) the paper into the tray according to the instructions in the  User Guide

Close the tray > Check / Adjust the paper size / type settings on the printer display panel.

 

If the printer is on the network,

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check / modify Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
