Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. HP Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HP Envy 4520 as of late does not respond to touch command to copy or as response to answering questions like type of paper loaded.  I have shut off, disconnected power source, run HP print and scan doctor. The touch screen turns a dark blue after a few minutes of non use, but the icons show again if the power button is depressed.

If you have already performed the steps from the document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
