Trouble Scanning to email windows 10

recently upgraded computer and while trying to scan and send email from the HP LJ400 M425 scan program I'm getting error message about creating a Microsoft outlook profile which I already have a profile in there.

What is your MS Outlook version?

Browse your PC and locate any PDF file, then right-click the file and select Send To > Mail Recipient.

Does it launch a new MS Outlook new message dialog with the file attached or may you see any other error or behavior?

This is the same task done by the HP Scan software, let's start with above steps and let me know if Microsoft Outlook and the operating system can make this task successfully, regardless of the HP Scan software.

I have outlook 2016, when I right click and go to send to it doesn't give me a option to send it to a mail recipient and only shows folders on my network or computer.

So that means the problem relies within Microsoft Outlook or the operating system itself, as the operating system cannot perform the task...

I suggest trying to repair MS Outlook and check if that may help, attaching the support document provided by Microsoft for your convenience, you may use it at your own risk:

If the problem remains please contact Microsoft to troubleshoot such a problem, you would need to resolve the problem with Outlook itself.
