Trying to scan / fax documents on my printer - HP4158. How?

No worries, I can help you with that! Here are the steps to scan and fax documents using your HP DeskJet Plus 4158 All-in-One Printer:

Scanning Documents:

Install HP Smart App:

• Download and install the HP Smart app from the HP website or your device's app store.

Connect Your Printer:

• Open the HP Smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Load Your Document:

• Place the document you want to scan on the scanner glass, print side down.

Start Scanning:

• In the HP Smart app, select the "Scan" option.
• Adjust scan settings if needed, then click "Scan."

Save or Share:

• Once the scan is complete, you can save the document to your device or share it via email directly from the app.

Faxing Documents:

Connect to a Phone Line:

• Ensure your printer is connected to a working phone line.

Load Your Document:

• Place the document you want to fax on the scanner glass, print side down.

Send the Fax:

• On the printer's control panel, press the "Fax" button.
• Enter the recipient's fax number using the keypad.
• Press "Start" to send the fax.
