Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I have bought the OfficeJet Pro 7740 twice. One is for my home office and the other for my workspace. The problem now is when I install the software fresh and Scan something to the computer it works fine, but when I go home to the other printer and click scan to computer my laptop name is not shown in the list of devices. When I'm at home and reinstall the driver then it works fine again. But the next day when I go back to the workspace that scanner doesn't see my laptop any more. again aster reinstalling the driver it works fine but when I go home that scanner won't see it any more.

 

I think the software is adepting it's settings to the current printer and keeps doing that instead of keeping the settings from the other printer. Is there a way to solve this issue or work around it instead of having to reinstall everytime I move from home to the the office or back?
