Product: HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Why does my printer 7640 e-all-in-one-printer when I use the double option the pages skips the number of my documents? I end up with less pages when I use the two sided print the number is off sequence and doesn’t print my desired number of pages what can I do in this situation to get all my pages in the correct numeric order? Do I need to uninstall the software and reinstall my printer in order to update so that it will work correctly?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you using regular paper type dor this print job? Duplexer media sizes Letter; Executive [all media lengths between 140 and 310 mm (5.5 and 12.2 in)]
  • Could you please share the screenshot of the print settings? Have you tried changing the print preferences presets setting?
  • What's the application you are trying to print from?
