HP OfficeJet4650
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Up until I ran the latest update, I was able to tab 'Scan' on the touch screen, select my computer and then select the type of scan i wanted (PDF, JPG, etc.).  Now when I use the touchscreen, it just goes straight to scanning.  Also, the scanned file used to pop up as a new document in Windows Explorer, but now the scanned document pops up in a Windows Fax and Scan window.  When it came up in Windows Explorer it was far easier to move the files to the appropriate locations.

Anyone know how to get it back to the prior setup?

Hi,

From your desktop click the HP Officejet 4650 icon and select Scan, there click on Manage Scan to Computer.

Uncheck the bottom box to start the feature with Windows, then click the Disable button and the dialog closes.

Wait for 30 seconds and open Manage Scan to computer again, then check back the bottom checkbox and enable the feature back.

Now select Scan > Computer on the printer and look for your PC name without any added words, then check for any difference
