Hi, many thanks for your advice. I have followed the steps and am unable to see the item; Bonjour. I have added a few screenshots to show you what I am seeing.

In addition, to your final question; Yes we do have an extended network and for the Test that you suggested, I turned these all off so that the Printer and the Mac were all connected to the same network which is the original one transmitted by the Router. I hope that helps you further?

I tried this test several times ensuring that everything was looking at the same Wifi network inc using the wizard on the printer to reconnect to the WIFI network but the screenshots below show what I could see each time. I could not see any option called 'Bonjour'.

Thanks

Mark

Oh further to my mail above, when I open the HP utility, I can see mention of Bonjour settings, not sure if this is helpful. I also looked in HP Easy Scan and I can see that it offers BONJOUR as a setting but again everything is blank.Screenshot 2019-08-04 at 15.46.10.png;

OK, so as I was about to shut down I took one more look at the 'Printers and Scanners' option in 'System Preferences' and low and behold the option 'Bonjour was available for the 2 times I have added the Printer (once by IP and once by AirPrint (using IP). I then attempted to select the correct drivers; Envy 110 and then clicked 'ADD'. Then the error appeared where it says it is unable to communicate with the Printer at this time. Please see the screenshots below.Screenshot 2019-08-04 at 15.49.54.pngScreenshot 2019-08-04 at 15.50.49.png

This is a shared copy of your printer.

Please print a Wireless Test Report by clicking the Wireless icon on the printer, then select Settings and then Print Reports, from there select Wireless Test Report.

Attach a scanned copy of the report and send it to me through a private message.

Additionally, what is your router brand and model?

Thanks, I have sent you a copy of the Wireless Test report plus the Router brand details. Hope that helps

Thanks for the information, Mark.

First, by reviewing the report I can see you do have multiple SSIDs with the same name.

I would first suggest making sure the printer and Mac are both close to the router, but no closer than 2 meters away.

Temporary unplug the other access point with the same name, then restart the printer and run a Wireless Test again.

Ensure it is listed as No under "Other networks detected matching your network name (SSID)"

If the answer is still yes, be sure to temporarily disable any other device broadcasting the same SSID while testing, as it may break the Bonjour connection so you know if the connection breaks by your router or by any other network component.

Now try adding the printer and check if it is listed as Bonjour.

If not, I suggest ensuring your router firmware is up to date,

Also check with Sky if your router support Bonjour / Multicast as I could see many AirPrint related issues with the Sky Q Hub, AirPrint relies on Bonjour as scanning from Mac computers

Hey there!

Did you manage to solve your problem? I have the same one and I followed all the tips here suggested but they didn't help 😞

I think the problem is the new operative systems because my MacBook pro with Catalina allows me to print but does not recognize the scanner. Differently, my old Mac with High Sierra recognizes both the printer and scanner function of the HP ENVY 110.

Let me know if you manage to solve it in the end!

Adolfo
