Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since this week I'm unable to scan from my printer to my computer (Printing is still working fine). Note that I was able to scan a document via e-mail.

From HP Smart I got the error in French: " Un problème lié au scanner a été détecté. Redémarrez l'imprimante et réessayez. Si le problème persiste, consultez le site Web d'assistance HP" meaning "A problem with the scanner has been detected. Restart the printer and try again. If the problem persists, visit the HP support website"

I tried also HP Printer Assitant and I got something similar.

Thanks to help me!

@hockeyfan00, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If you are able to print, it means the connectivity between the printer and the PC is fine.

Are you trying to scan from the printer screen to the computer using 'scan to computer' option?

Do you have a full feature printer driver installed on the PC?

Did you try scanning from the computer and check if that works?

Keep me posted.
