I have an Office Jet Pro 7740. Lately I am getting one mystery line through the middle of my scans and when I copy. What's up?

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Most likely there is a piece of paper stuck on the skinny slit of the window that is used by the Automatic Document Feeder.
