@kidhauler1948, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To scan to a PDF using your HP Envy 6555e All-in-One Printer on Windows 11, the most reliable method is through the HP Smart app. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Install or Open HP Smart App:

  • Download from the Microsoft Store if not already installed.

Connect Your Printer:

  • Ensure your HP Envy 6555e is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.

Launch the App:

  • Open HP Smart and add your printer if it’s not already listed.

Start a Scan:

  • Click on the “Scan” tile.
  • Choose “Scanner Glass” or “Document Feeder” as the input source.

Adjust Settings:

  • Set the file type to PDF.
  • You can also adjust resolution, color, and page size.

Scan and Save:

  • Click “Scan”.
  • After scanning, click “Save” and choose the location and file name.

For Multi-Page PDFs:

  • After scanning the first page, click “+ Add” to scan additional pages.
  • Once done, click “Save” to save all pages as a single PDF.
