I have had a problem with my HP OfficeJet 8025E printer.  A friend has printer that I was going to use for parts if I needed to. But his printer is a model 8025 vs mine is a model 8025e. What is the difference between these two HP printer models?

@dresdenron,

That is a good question.

According to the "HP Team", and I quote: "The only difference between these two printers are the benefits. The HP 8025e model comes with 6 months of free printing and 2 years of HP warranty. This model is currently not being offered at Best Buy. The HP 8025 model currently has a 4-month HP Instant Ink trial and 3 months of Canva Pro promotion that ends on March 31st, 2021. This model only comes with one year of HP warranty. For more details, visit http://www.HP.com/canvapro."

Summary:

  • Hardware: Same between 8025 and 8025e.

  • Differences: Mainly included service benefits (longer free Instant Ink trial and extended warranty on 8025e).

  • Parts compatibility: Yes, parts are interchangeable.

NonSequitur777,

Thanks for the response. One of the tech sites had them listed stating that the model 8025 did not have Wi-Fi but the 8025E did accommodate Wi-Fi. So your saying that is not true, correct?

@dresdenron,

No, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer does have Wi-Fi connectivity. It is designed for wireless printing and networking, offering several connectivity options.
