Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. When trying to login into HP Smart on my laptop the wheel spins while telling me -Loading HP account...  This literally will go on for hours. I can login from my Android phone so I assume it's not an account issue. I have uninstalled the app and installed the latest version with no change.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that HP Smart app is not loading on your android device, I am glad to assist you.

Make sure your Android device is updated

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Near the bottom, tap System. System update.
  3. You'll see your update status. Follow any steps on the screen.

Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app again

Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates

Hi Sandytechy20, my problem is not with Android. I can't get logged in on Windows. I can operate it from my phone but that makes my job much harder than scanning directly to my laptop. With windows 10, I put in my credentials and hit login and have left it spinning for as much as 20+ hours and not been successful getting in.
