The option to scan BLACK and WHITE on the hp office jet pro 8025 printer/scanner has disappeared and the grayscale DOES NOT WORK for the project I am working on. How do I fix this issue? Why was that very useful option removed?

  • Update Printer Firmware/Software: It's possible that the disappearance of the black-and-white scanning option could be due to a software glitch or an outdated firmware version. Check if there are any updates available for your printer's firmware or software, and install them if necessary.
  • Reset Printer Settings: Try resetting the printer to its factory defaults. This can often resolve software-related issues and restore missing features. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
