We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Cannot copy from glass. Will copy with document feeder, won't switch to glass. It was working fine, I use this all the time, or I was. It says document feeder was not able to pick up the original.

Are you able to scan from the feeder and glass?

 

Try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer, disconnect the power cord from the power source, and then wait 30 seconds.

  2. If you are using a power strip or multi-plug adapter, connect the cord directly to a wall outlet to make sure the printer is getting enough power.

  3. Reconnect the power cord to the printer, and then try making a copy.

    • If the issue persists, connect the printer to a different wall outlet to determine if the original outlet is causing the issue.

I tried a firmware update and nothing changes. I can scan from the glass and feeder. The printer does everything except copy from the glass, so why is disconnecting the power cord going to do anything?. Anyway, I talked to an agent that knew how to troubleshoot the problem and they are sending me a new printer.
