I’ve been using my HP Envy Photo 6234 for a while with no issues. Have predominantly used the HP smart app. For some reason I now can’t scan. Only used it two days ago with no issue.
when I go to the document scan button it is greyed out and now says printer not available.
it is connected to WiFi. Disconnected, reconnected to WiFi and still have the same problem.

May i know if you are using an Android / iOS mobile device to initiate scan using HP SMART App ?
Meanwhile, you may uninstall the SmartApp and reinstall it from the store.
