Yes, the printer includes fax hardware.

You can fax with the printer Fax as long as you have a landline you can connect to the printer.

Reminder:  Use a 2-Wire phone cable (not the standard 4-wire)

What if?

If you cannot use the Fax hardware in you printer for lack of a phone line to connect it, consider HP Mobile Fax.

The mobile fax software has been in "Trial" mode for years -- it does generally work.
