I used the HP SMART app from my all in one Lenovo pc with windows 10 home edition to send a fax 6 months ago. In the app it still shows up as sent, I want to download that fax but it will only download a pdf receipt of being sent. Is their a way to download the whole fax?

No.

The fax content is not stored in any way and you must get the original fax document, you cannot download its content from HP Smart, but only its log information.
