Hi @ppcjr,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To enlarge a scan copy and print it larger using the Smart Tank 6000 series printer, you can follow these steps.

  • Scan the Document: Place the document you want to enlarge on the scanner glass or load it into the automatic document feeder (if available). Use the scanning function on your Smart Tank 6000 series printer to create a digital copy of the document.
  • Adjust Settings: Open the scanned document on your computer or use the printer's control panel if it has a built-in display. Look for the printing options or settings related to resizing or scaling the document. The exact location and naming of these settings may vary depending on the printer model and software being used.
  • Select Enlargement Option: Choose the enlargement option and specify the desired percentage or custom size for the enlargement. Some printers offer pre-set enlargement ratios, such as 200% or 300%, while others allow you to enter a specific percentage or dimensions.
  • Preview and Adjust: If your printer provides a preview option, it's advisable to preview the enlarged document before printing to ensure it meets your requirements. If needed, make further adjustments to the scaling or positioning.
  • Print the Enlarged Copy: Once you are satisfied with the preview and settings, initiate the printing process. Make sure you have sufficient paper loaded in the printer and select the appropriate print settings, such as print quality and paper type.
  • Verify Printout: After the printing process is complete, check the printout to ensure the enlargement has been done correctly. Compare it to the original document or use a ruler to measure the dimensions if accuracy is crucial.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
