when i scan the page come out all black with colored lined straght lines down the page, like the scan bar is only picking 1 picel but the bar dose move from front edge to the end.

Do you experience the same issue with Photocopies?

 

Please ensure the printer has the latest Firmware https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16 and ensure the Scanner Bed has been cleaned with a lint free cloth

 

If the issue persists please contact HP Support in your region for service options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
