Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

When trying to scan to email, I get error message that the printer can't connect to web services.

I'd like to help!

 

Perform the following tasks in the order given. Use the printer after each task to see if the issue is resolved.

Make sure your printer supports Web Services

Check for a Web Services or ePrint icon to make sure your printer supports Web Services.

Turn on the printer.

Look for a Web Services or ePrint icon on the control panel.

If the control panel does not have the icon or you are unsure if your printer is supported, go to Mobile printing solutions for more information.

If your printer is not supported, consider purchasing a new printer that has the features you require.

Update the firmware for your printer. Click here
