Dear community,

I'd like to use my AVM router (FritzBox 7590) with the integrated fax function. There you can define that incoming faxes will be sent to an email adress. Since I want to use my hpeprint adress (to print these faxes directlI have to provide the SMPT adress. Where can I find this?

Hi,

HP ePrint allows printing and document sent to the printer's email.

 

SMTP server details are for an SMTP server used to send your email, this have nothing to do with HP ePrint or with any of the printer capabilities.

 

You would need to contact your email service provider to get the SMTP server settings, then to set the email address of the printer as the recipient, the printer have nothing to do with the email sending itself, but it can only print any email sent to its address, that's about all.

 

If you have Gmail as example, you may use their SMTP server to send the email:

https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7126229?hl=en

 

This is just an example in general, your email provider provides an SMTP server, not a printer.
