HP inkjet F4240
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Adobe Flash player is no longer on my computer when I attempt to scan from my HP F4240 inkjet printer I get the message flash player must be installed is this going to require me to buy another printer or is there a run around?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Try this Solution:

Install HP Scan Extended find here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/
Download this file: HPScanExt.msi
Close all programs

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the msi.
