hola Hp community. i have an old hp 4050 scanner, still in pristine condition, only problem is i no longer have the installation disk. i have tried to find the software at the hp web site, no luck, yes the drivers and smart scan but that is not helpful as i want to scan slides. the scan jet 4050 works with vuescan software, but i cannot afford the $79 usd for the professional version to scan slides. 

does anyone know where i can find the HP scanjet 4050 software? or is there another solution, another app? i am a 71 year old and want to scan some of my historical slides for my kids. thanks all for trying.
