I have installed my printer for some months and it has work well all this while until last two days, when I want to scan and it is saying "printer status unknown" in the HP smart app.

Download and install the following driver and try scanning:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ2700/HPEasyStart-13.4.8-DJ2700_51_3_4843_2_Webp...
Optional driver:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HPEasyStart/Pilot/HPEasyStart_13_6_5.exe
