Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. I need help fixing the scanning. Lately, it is not scanning the entire area, as chosen on the HP smart app.

I see that you are facing scanning issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-In-One Printer wherein it does not scan the entire area from scanner glass.

 

Please follow the steps listed below to install the firmware update from HP smart App.
1. Go to https://123.hp.com/ to install the HP Smart app on your mobile device (if not installed).
2. After completing the printer setup, click or tap your printer name.
NOTE: Menu names, locations, and available settings vary by printer model.
3. Under Advanced, select Printer Home Page (EWS) or Advanced Settings.
4. Click or tap Tools or Web Services.
5. Click or tap Printer Updates or Product Update, and then click or tap Check Now.
