Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Alternatively, you can download HP Smart from the Microsoft Store. For more information on how to set up your printer using the HP Smart app, go to HP printer setup (HP Smart app).

Hello

when using HP scan app , i can scan one page, see the preview. From there  there are 2 options possible :

1.save

2. remove the page from selection

the button  "add a new page" is greyed out (3.)

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand you are unable to scan multiple pages, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

  • Are you scanning from an HP smart app?
  • Did you make any changes to your printer?

Thank you for posting back. 

 

You can use the HP Smart app to scan or reinstall the full feature printer driver. 

Here’s how you can download new printer software for your computer:

  • Visit HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
  • Enter your printer name in the search box - you should be able to find your printer name on the outer shell of your printer
  • Click Enter
  • You might have several different driver options to choose from - review them all and download the ones you deem necessary
  • The most important driver options will be placed at the top of the list

Once you’ve downloaded the printer software, open the downloaded file and you’ll receive step-by-step installation instructions.

hello 

unfortunatly , afeter updating all drivers and apps, this is the same status : the button  for multiple scans is still greyed out
