  1. Verify Antivirus Settings:

    • Some antivirus software, such as Quick Heal Antivirus, may interfere with the installation process. Temporarily disable any antivirus software, especially features like Autorun Protection, and attempt the installation again. Remember to re-enable the antivirus after installation.
  2. Uninstall Previous Software:

    • Remove any previously installed HP software associated with the HP Scanjet 5590 by navigating to the Control Panel and selecting "Uninstall a program."
