Do you scan using Scan To or any other application?

 

Try scanning with Windwos Scan below, it provides PDF scan capabilities:

We released a generic, much more full featured SW solution that should work for older devices (assuming they already have the correct drivers installed).   This SW does allow for PDF saves, as well as many other things.

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi   For Windows.
