officejet 8630. When I try to copy I get a "Paper mismatch " error and a blank sheet of paper comes out. I tried a soft reset (pulled the plug out for 60 seconds). The scanner looks like it's stuck when I copy but when I scan it works. The printer will go thru a self test and print a page. I can print from my computer although it seems slower than usual. I cannot align, do the line feed or clean the printhead because the error appears so it doesn't finish. I did a factory reset and I have the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

After cleaning the printhead and blowing all the dust out of the printer I took a flashlight and double checked the carriage for any obstructions. On the right side way back in the corner was a crushed up piece of paper sideways. It looked like it was part of the printer. Onced I cleared the paper out I was able to align, calibrate and clean the printhead.
So the solution is take a flashlight and make sure you thoroughly check the carriage for obstructions.

Out of all the smart HP community people, no one has any ideas? I cleaned the printer with air. I tried just tray # 2. It takes longer than usual to print if at all. It will print a test page slowly. I am doing this from the printer control panel leaving the pc and software out of the equation. The printer and software are set to letter and that is what I am using. I checked the tray, cleaned it with air and it was set for letter.
Please help. Someone has to have an idea.
