@Nitrambo, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  • To assist you better, what is the exact error while you try to scan?
  • Is the printer connected wirelessly to the MAC?
  • Are you able to print from your MAC?

 

For now, let us try these steps:

 

Update the printer firmware

Go to Setup > Web services > Update this printer

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

Use one of the 3 methods mentioned in this document to scan from your MAC and check if that helps - How to Scan (Mac)

On the printer screen, tap the 1st icon at the top(ePrint)/webservices > go to Settings > Update the printer.

 

The user guide for the printer can be found here.
