I need someone's help. I am 82 and not too knowledgeable about computers. I need to know how I can send faxes on my HP Envy 7900. I do not have a fax number

How to Send a Fax Using HP Mobile Fax (No Fax Number Needed)

 

1. Install the HP Smart App

• On your computer or smartphone, go to 123.hp.com and download the HP Smart app.
• Follow the instructions to install and open the app.

 

2. Set Up Mobile Fax

• Open the HP Smart app.
• Look for a tile called Mobile Fax. If you don’t see it:
  • Click Personalize Tiles and enable Mobile Fax.

 

3. Compose and Send Your Fax

• Click Mobile Fax, then Compose Fax.
• Enter the recipient’s fax number (you’ll need their number to send).
• Add your name and contact info.
• Attach the document you want to fax:
  • You can scan it using your printer or upload a file from your computer.
• Click Send Fax.

If you don’t have the recipient’s fax number, you’ll need to ask them for it first. Mobile Fax only sends faxes—it doesn’t receive them, and it doesn’t give you a personal fax number.
