Hello,
this is a suggestion on using "HP Printer Assistant":
it will be to create the possibility of triggering a photocopy from the manager.
For example, in the Scan tab.
Thanks

Hi @OlivJD,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP Printer Assistant is a software application that comes bundled with HP printers to provide various functionalities and features for managing and troubleshooting the printer. However, it's important to note that the specific features and capabilities of HP Printer Assistant can vary depending on the printer model and the version of the software.
Regarding the HP ENVY 6020 All-In-One Printer, it's possible that the HP Printer Assistant may not have a direct option to trigger a photocopy from its interface. Typically, the primary purpose of the HP Printer Assistant is to assist with tasks such as printer setup, scanning documents, checking ink levels, ordering supplies, and accessing troubleshooting guides.
To make a photocopy using the HP ENVY 6020 printer, you can generally follow these steps.
- Lift the scanner lid and place the document you want to photocopy face-down on the glass.
- Close the scanner lid.
- On the printer's control panel, locate the Copy button or icon. It's usually represented by a small image of two overlapping documents.
- Press the Copy button/icon.
- Use the printer's control panel or the buttons on the display (if available) to select the desired copy settings such as the number of copies, paper size, and color options.
- Start the copy process by pressing the Start or OK button.
If your printer has an LCD screen, you may be able to access additional copy settings directly from there, such as adjusting the contrast or resizing options. However, if you're looking for a way to trigger a photocopy directly from the HP Printer Assistant software, it's recommended to check the software's interface thoroughly to see if such a feature is available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
