Hi @Marty777999,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 when printing photos. Wet and bleeding ink can be caused by a few different factors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue.

  • Check Paper Type and Quality: Make sure you're using the correct type of paper for photo printing. Using the wrong type of paper can cause ink to bleed. Look for paper specifically designed for photo printing, usually labeled as "photo paper" or "inkjet photo paper." Also, ensure that the paper is not too thin or too glossy for your printer.
  • Check Print Settings: Adjust the print settings on your printer and computer to ensure they are optimized for photo printing. In your printer settings, select the appropriate paper type and quality settings for photo printing. Also, make sure the print resolution is set to the highest possible setting for better quality.
  • Inspect Ink Cartridges: Check the ink cartridges in your printer to make sure they are properly installed and not damaged or low on ink. Replace any cartridges that are low or empty.
  • Clean Printer Heads: Use the printer's built-in maintenance tools to clean the printhead. This can help remove any dried ink or debris that may be causing the printing issues. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to clean the printhead.
  • Update Printer Firmware and Drivers: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed and that your computer has the latest printer drivers. Sometimes, software updates can resolve printing issues.
  • Allow Photos to Dry: After printing, allow the photos to fully dry before handling them. Handling wet photos can cause smudging and bleeding of the ink.

By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the wet and bleeding ink issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
