Hi @leole,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear your HP Deskjet 2755e isn't printing or scanning — that’s incredibly frustrating, especially when you just want it to work without the hassle. Let’s walk through the most helpful next steps to get things running again.

1. Check Connection Status

  • Wi-Fi: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
    • Press the Information “i” button on the printer to print a network status report. This can show if it's truly connected.
  • USB: If you’re using USB, unplug and replug the cable, and try a different port if needed.

2. Restart Everything

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
  • Restart your computer or phone.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

3. Run HP Smart App (Recommended)
If you don’t already have it, install the HP Smart app on your device:

It helps you:

  • Check ink levels
  • Run print/scanner tests
  • Update firmware
  • Reset the wireless setup if needed

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
