To readjust the scan area on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e back to 8.5x11 inches, follow these steps.

 

Open HP Smart App:

  • Launch the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.

Select Your Printer:

  • Ensure your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e is selected as the active printer.

Access Scanner Settings:

  • Click on the “Scan” option from the main screen of the HP Smart app.

Open Advanced Settings:

  • Look for an option like “More Settings” or “Advanced Settings” to access detailed scan options.

Adjust Scan Size:

  • Find the “Paper Size” or “Scan Area” setting. Change it to 8.5 x 11 inches (Letter size) or the equivalent option in your settings.

Apply and Save:

  • Apply the changes and save them.

Start a Test Scan:

  • Perform a test scan to ensure that the settings have been correctly adjusted to 8.5x11 inches.


If you are using the scanner directly from the printer's control panel:


Navigate to the Scanner Menu:

  • On the printer's touchscreen, go to the “Scan” menu.

Select Scan Settings:

  • Choose “Scan Settings” or similar options.

Adjust Paper Size:

  • Set the scan size to 8.5 x 11 inches.

Save and Exit:

  • Save your settings and exit the menu.
